Dolly Parton Zine

Zine: A zine is usually a non – commercial, non professional publication, kind of like a magazine but with a twist. Zines are not out there to make a profit but rather, to add other, often unheard voices into the mix. For this project, I wanted to create a fun country retro of Dolly Parton. In this zine, there is sprayed glitter to give the paper some texture and shine, as well as some transparent paper with illustrations printed on it and vellum paper with text. The purpose of the project was for it to be experimental and have fun with it. Scroll through some spread designs and enjoy a video of flipping through the zine.
